We are actively expanding our patent portfolio including with many divisional applications, the below list is not an exhaustive list of our patents or pending applications.
Patent 1 and 2: Unique Head shape
Unique Head Shape. 100% floor coverage – No corner left behind.
The problem: 80% Coverage Isn’t Enough - Most traditional floor cleaning machines leave up to 20% of the floor untouched, especially in corners and along edges.
Why? Because nearly all rely on circular scrubbing brushes, which simply cannot clean into 90-degree corners.
The DRYFT Solution: A revolutionary cleaning head. We went back to the drawing board - literally. Through hundreds of prototypes and tests, we engineered a completely new cleaning head shape, one that breaks free from the limitations of circular geometry. The result: 100% floor surface coverage, including right into the corners. This design isn’t just different - it’s protected. Protected by multiple Patents, This patented innovation is a cornerstone of DRYFT’s unmatched performance - enabling users to clean faster, more effectively, and with zero compromise.

Patent 3: Torque Transmitting Ball Joint
Torque Transmitting Ball Joint – 360° Manoeuvrability
The challenge: True Freedom of movement to make DRYFT not only compact but effortlessly agile, we needed a way for the machine to rotate and steer with absolute precision - even in the tightest spaces.
The breakthrough: A patented Torque-Transmitting Ball Joint.
We engineered a custom forged aluminium ball joint that does more than flex: Features a grooved socket and protruding pins for strength and control. Allows the handle to flex up to 40 degrees, adapting to every movement. Crucially, when the user twists the handle, the joint transmits torque directly to the cleaning head, turning it smoothly in the desired direction.
This unique system gives DRYFT its signature 360° spin manoeuvrability - a key advantage for cleaning around obstacles and into confined areas with ease. This patented ball joint system is exclusive to DRYFT, delivering a level of control and mobility unmatched in the industry. Extreme agility. Total control. Protected innovation.

Patent 4: SPYDR Chassis
SPYDR™ Chassis – Surface Tracking Technology
The problem: Floors Are Never Perfectly Flat In the real world, floor surfaces vary - often by 5 to 10mm, or more. These undulations compromise cleaning performance, especially when the scrubbing head and squeegee are rigidly fixed, unable to adapt to the surface below.
The solution: DRYFT’s Patented SPYDR™ Chassis.
To overcome this challenge, we developed the SPYDR™ Chassis - a patented dual-axis suspension system that allows: The scrubbing head and squeegee to move independently. Continuous, full contact with the floor across high and low points. Consistent scrubbing and drying performance on even the most uneven floors. This intelligent design ensures that cleaning quality isn’t compromised by surface imperfections - a critical difference between DRYFT and traditional machines.
Granted Patent: (UK) 2606241
Pending Patents: (AUS) 2022244322, (CANADA) 3212389, (CHINA) 202280024684.1, (US) 18/283827
Patent 5: Glide Wheels
Glide Wheels – Precision Edge Cleaning
The challenge: Clean to the edge, without collision. True professional cleaning means no gaps, no scuffs, and no compromises - especially along edges and walls. But without the right control, cleaning heads can drift, bounce, or knock against walls, affecting performance and potentially causing damage.
The innovation: Patented Glide Wheels.
DRYFT solves this with its patented Glide Wheel system, seamlessly integrated into the upper section of the cleaning head. These sunken, low-friction guide wheels:
Allow the cleaning head to glide smoothly along walls and vertical surfaces.
Prevent the moving scrubbing mechanism from making contact with the wall.
Keep the scrubbing pad perfectly aligned for precision edge cleaning.
Deliver cleaning right to the edge - without losing stability or control.
Granted Patent: (UK) 2606239
Pending Patents: (AUS) 2022244322, (CANADA) 3212389, (CHINA) 202280024684.1
Patent 6: Squeegee Support Profile
Squeegee Support Profile – Optimised for S-Motion Control
The challenge: Stable drying through every turn.
When performing tight turns - especially during DRYFT’s unique S-Motion cleaning pattern - maintaining the correct angle of the squeegee is critical. Without proper support, the squeegee risks folding in the wrong direction, compromising drying performance.
The solution: Patented Squeegee Support Profile.
DRYFT’s patented curved squeegee support profile ensures:
The squeegee remains at the optimal contact angle, even during sharp manoeuvres.
Prevention of folding or drag distortion under lateral pressure.
Consistent, streak-free drying in both straight-line passes and dynamic movement.
This intelligent design allows DRYFT to maintain outstanding drying results, even when cleaning in tight or complex spaces - something traditional scrubber dryers struggle with. The Squeegee Support Profile is a critical part of DRYFT’s drying performance.
Granted Patent: (UK) 2606240
Pending Patents: (AUS) 2022244322, (CANADA) 3212389, (CHINA) 202280024684.1
Patent 7: S-Handle™
S-Handle™ - Ergonomics reimagined for S-Motion efficiency
The challenge: Rethinking movement in floor cleaning traditional scrubber dryers require linear, forward-only movement, demanding repetitive walking patterns that are inefficient and physically tiring for the operator.
The breakthrough: Patented S-Handle™ Design.
DRYFT introduces the world’s first vertical S-shaped handle coupled to mechanical cleaning, purpose-built to enable sideways S-Motion™ cleaning - a radical shift in ergonomic control. Key features include:
A patented S-curve handle profile.
A rotating top handle mounted on precision bearings.
Enhanced grip comfort and fluid movement control.
This design allows users to glide the machine in smooth, controlled S-shaped paths, enabling 75% less walking for the user and x2 faster cleaning speeds compared to conventional machines.
Granted Patent: (UK) GB 2620070
Pending Patents: (UK) 2315445.3, (UK) 2509331.1, (UK) 2510250.0
Patent 8: Machine Format
Machine Format – Compact head, complete coverage.
The challenge: Make it small without compromising power.
To truly clean 100% of the floor surface, especially in tight and awkward areas, the cleaning head must be as compact as possible. But traditional scrubber dryers pack motors, electronics, and other bulky components into the head - making it too large to reach into every space.
The solution: A radically reimagined machine format.
DRYFT is the first scrubber dryer designed with a minimalist cleaning head - housing only the scrubbing motor and squeegees. All other components, including electronics, battery, and fluid systems, are relocated to the upper handle, strategically positioned for:
Optimised weight distribution
Improved manoeuvrability.
Ultra-compact head design.
This intelligent layout is a key enabler of DRYFT’s unique ability to clean 100% of the floor area, right up to edges and into corners.
